Opening Friday Night of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival!

I'm really looking forward to my playing with my quartet on the opening Friday night of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival! Our set will feature a collection of original compositions, played by an international ensemble of some of Europe's finest young improvisors.

Joshua Jaswon Octet - Reduce / Reuse / Recycle

The third in a series of concerts in Copenhagen featuring Joshua’s new long-form work for octet. ‘Reduce / Reuse / Recycle’ deals with the theme of climate change and places the texts of contemporary environmental British poems in a shifting and evolving musical landscape. This evening's concert is in the beautiful setting of Koncertkirken, and features a fully international ensemble consisting of some of the finest young improvising musicians in Europe.

Jazz at KAS: The Joshua Jaswon Quartet

On Friday 15 of September The Joshua Jaswon Quartet will be performing music from its debut album Ribbons at the King Alfred School Performing Arts Department in celebration of a new grand piano the department has acquired.

The band will feature some absolutely remarkable musicians with Rob Barron on Piano, Flo Moore on Double Bass and David Ingamells on Drums.

On Thursday 27th of July The Joshua Jaswon Quintet will be performing music from its debut album Ribbons at the iconic London jazz venue The Jazz Nursery in the Southbank area.

This is one of the most celebrated monthly gigs on the London Jazz Scene and its a real pleasure to perform there for the second time with my quintet.

The band will feature some absolutely remarkable musicians with Tom Farmer on Double Bass, Rick Simpson on Piano, Miguel Gorodi on Trumpet / Flugelhorn, and David Ingamells on Drums.

Its great to be playing again at this year's Backyard Fest at Moishe House in Willesden Green.

On Monday 15th of June The Joshua Jaswon Quintet will be performing music from its debut album Ribbons at the iconic London jazz venue The Oxford in Kentish Town.

This is one of the most long-standing and celebrated weekly gigs on the London Jazz Scene and its a real pleasure to be able to perform there with my quintet.

The band will feature some absolutely remarkable musicians including Tom Farmer on Double Bass, Barry Green on Piano, Andy Chapman on Drums and Freddie Gavita on Trumpet / Flugelhorn.

Tickets are £10 on the door, and £5 for students.

Doors open at 8.30pm and the music is from 9pm to 11pm.
