John William’s Alto Saxophone Concerto with the Deutsche Filmorchester Babelsberg
Since the beginning of the year I have been preparing to play Escapades – John Williams’s alto saxophone concerto – with the Deutsche Filmorchester Babelsberg. This has been a long-term ambition and it was great fun last week recording the first movement in the magnificent Babelsberger Film Studio.
UK Winter Tour
In just under a month’s time my octet will be doing a small series of concerts in the UK. New Octet Recording
Recorded earlier this year in Berlin, the octet’s second album is now mixed and mastered and I am looking forward to its release with Ubuntu Music in 2023. More info to come soon
